Pete Messina was awarded his B.A. in Accounting from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois in 1977. That same year he completed his requirements to become a CPA through the University of Illinois.

Mr. Messina is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society (ICPA) and Georgia Certified Public Accountant Society (GCPA). He holds a current Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license, and is affiliated with Aircraft Owners Pilot Association (AOPA), Lifeline Pilots and Angel Flight Central. Mr. Messina also serves as Director of The Kayak Club, a non-profit organization.

 

Stanley Patek

Stanley Patek graduated from Lewis University in 1977 with a B.A. in Accounting, and completed his requirements to become a CPA through the University of Illinois.

Mr. Patek is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society (ICPA). He has been a practicing accountant in Riverside, Illinois for over 20 years. Mr. Patek serves as a Director and Officer for a number of companies and non-profit organizations.

 

John Moran

John Moran received his B.S. in Finance from Northern Illinois University in 1987. While working in the processing and distribution industries, Mr. Moran took coursework for his Masters of Science in accounting from Dominican University. Mr. Moran began his career at Messina & Patek in the Riverside office in 1998 and earned his CPA in the fall of 2000. He has extensive experience working with small and mid-sized business owners in performing generalized accounting and tax preparation.

 

Rebecca Murray

Rebecca Murray graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 2003. She is a licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society (ILCPA). Previous to joining the Messina & Patek team in 2011, Ms. Murray spent over 7 years with a regional public accounting firm providing tax and advisory services to closely-held family businesses as well as middle-market and large companies.
